Because DaySpring Villa does not receive government or United Way funding, our shelter depends on volunteers, financial gifts and in-kind contributions to shelter, feed, clothe, and support up to 55 women and their children in crisis at any one time throughout the year.
Our ability to help our guests emerge strong, independent and self-sufficient is a direct result of caring individuals, corporations, foundations and churches of every denomination. Whether you're a force of one or 100, DaySpring Villa needs your support as a volunteer to help us sort through donations, cook, serve meals, make repairs, garden, organize, read to children, or donate your own professional abilities as an attorney, doctor or dentist.
Volunteer Your Time
DaySpring Villa offers numerous volunteer opportunities that fit virtually every schedule, preference and age group. For those who are interested in volunteer caring for sexual trafficking victims, however, these women require intensive, long-term, specialized care by professionals who understand how to work with them. We encourage individuals and groups who are interested in our volunteering opportunities to donate their time on behalf of all our guests.
